A concrete project with a clear subject and real-world context.
A technical agricultural cooperative needed a structured way to introduce new members to the specific care routines for olive trees on calcareous soil. The existing process relied on printed sheets and informal talks, which led to inconsistent practices across different plots.
We designed a step-by-step portal that guides each new member through the first season. The content covers soil testing, irrigation scheduling based on local rainfall data, and the correct timing for bud grafting. Each module includes a short checklist and a reference to the cooperative’s own field trials.
The portal was built as a private section within the cooperative’s existing website. Members log in with their membership number and access a dashboard that tracks their progress. The content was written by two agronomists and reviewed by a panel of experienced growers to ensure the language stays practical and region-specific.
During the first season, 84% of new members completed the full onboarding sequence. The cooperative reported fewer cases of incorrect pruning and a noticeable drop in questions about basic irrigation rules. The portal now serves as the standard entry point for all new associates.
